This carpet is knotted by Armenians who immigrated to Iran and settled in the village of Lilihan, in the Markazi Province in western Iran. Despite of other Lilihan rugs, this carpet is dominated by cream color which is rare and unique. The pattern consists of curvilinear floral and imaginary motifs, but also geometric ones occur.
