Description
This Koliaei carpet is knotted by Kurdish tribes in northwestern Iran. The carpet is firmly knotted and durable with a short pile, silky touch and beautiful patterns. The patterns often consist of geometric figures in dull coolers. The wool is considered to be one of the best in Iran, since the wool comes from sheep which graze in the mountains thus making the wool fat and shiny.
